Where and when

We meet on Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm in the community room on the third floor of An Lanntair, Stornoway.

What we do

Each meeting we'll normally do one or more of the following:

  • discuss a writing technique or topic
  • do a writing exercise or free-write
  • workshop a piece written by a member of the group - workshopping is limited to one piece per evening on a first come, first served basis.
  • discuss a published piece of work

For the last meeting of each month, we normally bring along our own writing to share. We set a theme for each month, but you're welcome to bring writing on any topic if that month's theme doesn't inspire you.

There is a voluntary donation of £2 per meeting.
