Can you write a story in just 50 words?

Each month the Scottish Book Trust invite writers to submit short stories of no more than 50 words. They provide a different prompt each month - how you interpret it as a story is up to you.

March's prompt is write a story that features a time traveller.

Entries must be submitted by midday 27 March.

There are four categories for entries, Adult Writers, All-age Gaelic Writers, Young Writers 5-11 and Young Writer 12-18. The four winning stories will be published on the SBT website.

See the SBT website for full details of prizes, rules and how to enter.
